Rental Information
Past renters have used our spaces for weekly or monthly group meetings, small and large ceremonies, movie screenings, music and educational programs, and training classes.
Our facility includes ADA-compliant restrooms, an elevator, and a wide stairway to the lower level. The building features wireless internet access throughout, three parking lots, and a service drive. Our location is easily accessible from I-75/US-23 and I-69.
The information that follows applies to one-time rentals. Recurring rentals are negotiated based on frequency, number of attendees, and room size.

Sanctuary
Our sanctuary seats 160-175 people and our big windows overlook a lovely wooded area. This provides a feeling of being out in nature, but without the heat, the humidity, the cold, the wind, and the bugs…that can mess up an outdoor wedding!
With some advance notice, we can also arrange for an audio-visual technician to provide microphone coverage for your service. Just give us a call and arrange a time that is best for you to come look at our place.

Auldin Nelson Hall
Our Auldin Nelson Hall is a lovely place for a reception following your wedding, or for other social events such as anniversary celebrations, birthday parties…you name it!
The hall can accommodate up to 175 guests. We have 11 round tables, 25 eight-foot tables, and enough chairs for very large receptions. There is a small stage at one end of the room with a piano you can use. Sliding glass doors offer access to our well-manicured lawn and a small playground.

Commercial Kitchen Rental
Our spacious commercial kitchen is health department approved and can handle the preparation of very large meals. Caterers looking for a kitchen to rent, please give us a call to learn about the time slots we have available. The prices above include use of the range, ovens, sinks, tables and dishwasher. Please plan to supply your own cookware, serving ware, and paper products.

Weddings
Weddings at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Flint may be formal or informal, small or large, traditional or modern. To begin planning your wedding, you should call or e-mail the church office and do three things.
- Select a tentative date and time for your wedding. Weddings are not performed on Sunday mornings, nor are they scheduled in conflict with previously arranged events at the church.
- Pay a $250 security deposit and a $75 non-refundable cleaning fee on the sanctuary to reserve the date and time. If you wish to use our Auldin Nelson Hall for your reception, there will be an additional security deposit of $200.
- Make sure you understand all requirements for security deposits as noted above.
We offer a special for Wedding Facilities Rental which includes the use of our sanctuary, Auldin Nelson Hall (six-hour period), and kitchen, and the sanctuary for rehearsal, plus the security deposit for each:
- Facilities Rental: $1100.00 ($355.00 savings)
- Security Deposit: $250.00 ($125.00 savings)
- Non-Refundable Cleaning Fee: $75.00

- Fee for Minister: $525.00
- Fee for Sound Technician: $75.00 per hour
