“Speaking of God: 2024”
Co-minister, Jerry Kerr
Humans have had at least 18,000 different gods and goddesses since we first started thinking about such things.
(“Honey, that cave bear that about killed us…was God Awful!”) And now, even as people naturally turn their backs on outdated ideas of Gods…they still want to think about the idea of “God.” Even most “Nones” say they believe in God.
Join us as together we theists, agnostics, atheists, mystics and monists, celebrate and honor the human desire to understand the crazy world that alternately supports us, and kicks our butt.
We may not use the “G” word to describe it, but we are little different from the ancients in our desire to know and name the big kahuna!
This is a serious subject, the kind that also has plenty of laughs in it.
