Become a Member

As a member of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Flint (UUCF), you’re encouraged to:

  • Support the purpose and programs of the congregation
  • Sign the membership book
  • Make an annual financial commitment of record (pledge)
  • Vote at congregational meetings
  • Receive the benefits of membership, including wedding and memorial/funeral services

Members must be at least 16 years of age, or at least 14 years old and completed the Coming-of-Age program.

Before Becoming a Member

Before officially becoming a member of the UUCF, we invite you to:

Get a feel for the congregation

  • Attend several services
  • Join us for coffee hour after a service
  • Participate in a social event, adult education class, or a work party for our property
Learn what it means to be Unitarian Universalist

  • Attend a “Getting to Know UU” orientation meeting
And when you’re ready

  • Sign the membership book
  • Fill out contact and informational forms, and consider making a financial commitment through a pledge
