90 Years: A Progressive Light
On Saturday, September 12, we will gather on the lawn at the church for a “bring your own lunch, chairs, and masks” social distancing picnic.
Our Sunday service celebrates the 90 years of our liberal religious presence in Flint. Joan Smalley, a member for 57 years, will speak about past ministers, a subject full of reverence…and humor. The service features a slide show of pictures from our archives that are bound to make you feel young, and convince you that the UUs in Flint have been here a long time, and aren’t leaving. Although we can’t have our usual in-person, homecoming weekend, let’s gather online as a congregation of hearts and minds and be thankful for each other, and our enduring tradition. Please join our coffee hour at 11:30. Zoom ID: 859-1497-8515
