The first Sunday of Advent is November 28, and for Christians it is a season of waiting for the birth of Jesus. We will light Advent candles this year in our sanctuary and remember all the things we hope and wait for; “peace, liberty and justice for all,” as proclaimed in our sixth principle, and by Jesus too!
