Your World Tomorrow
Even when the outcome of World War II was in doubt, Allied leaders met to discuss a post-war world to ensure that a horror like that war would never again occur on this planet. Today, here in the U.S. and around the world, people are calling for the end of the world the Allies created. But unlike the world in 1943, where people had a conception of what a better world would look like; today, there is little consensus about what that world tomorrow should be. Is it even possible to build a consensus for the world we want to build before the old one comes crashing down, and if there is time, what role should religious institutions play in developing this consensus?
